River Safety & Essential GuidelinesWhat are the age limits and physical requirements?
This tour is suitable for adventurers from 8 to 65 years old in normal physical condition. Previous whitewater experience is not required; our certified river guides deliver complete dry-land safety drills and paddling commands before entering the water.
What type of footwear and clothes should I bring?
You must wear water shoes or sneakers with secure straps that can get wet (flip-flops and loose sandals are strictly prohibited on the raft). Wear a swimsuit or quick-dry athletic wear, and bring a towel, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a complete dry change of clothes for after the tour.
Does the tour run in the rain?
Yes, whitewater rafting operates under tropical rain as you will get wet throughout the rapids anyway. Tours are only rescheduled or paused if river authorities or head guides detect severe flash floods or unsafe water flow levels.
Can I bring phones or action cameras on the raft?
Action cameras (GoPro) are permitted only if mounted securely to your helmet or chest harness. Phones, wallets, and car keys should be locked safely inside our private transfer van with your driver, as loose belongings can easily be lost in intense rapids.
