Yes, closed-toe shoes or sneakers are mandatory for all ATV drivers to ensure safety. Wear comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting dusty or muddy. We also recommend sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat for stops, and cash/card if you wish to buy snacks or lunch.
Can two people share the same ATV?
Yes. You can book individual single ATVs or ride tandem with a companion. If two guests choose to share the same vehicle, an additional passenger fee applies. Drivers must possess a valid driver’s license.
What is the difference between the 2-Hour and 4-Hour tours?
The 2-Hour Countryside Tour ($130) focuses entirely on gravel roads, rural trails, seasonal shallow water splashes, and a local convenience store stop. The 4-Hour Tour ($170) includes the full rural trail PLUS visits to white-sand Playa Penca and dark-sand Playa Potrero, with an optional stop at Las Brisas beachfront restaurant.
Is hotel pickup and drop-off really included?
Yes, 100% private round-trip transportation in air-conditioned vans is included from Tamarindo, Flamingo, Playa Conchal, Huacas, Playas del Coco, Riu Guanacaste, Riu Palace, JW Marriott, and surrounding areas. Available departures: 8:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM (or custom time upon request).
